A. Installing Wanda POS on Windows

Wanda POS Installation & Quick Tour

Tutorial

• Once you've downloaded Wanda POS, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the directory in which you saved the installer you downloaded.

• Right-click on the installer and select "Run as administrator".
• The Wanda POS logo is displayed on the screen while the contents of the installer get loaded.

• A pop-up window is displayed. Use this to select a language for the installation process, then click on OK.

NB: the language you choose is only for the installation process. By default Wanda POS itself operates in English. To make Wanda POS operate in another language you'll have to obtain a language pack and configure it properly. 

• On the next window select the Java Runtime you want to use, then click on OK. It is recommended to use the default JRE.

• The next window gives information about the install builder. Click on Next to move on.

• On the next window read the license agreement and only accept if you're willing to comply with the terms.  

• If you agree with the terms of the license agreement select "I accept the agreement", and then click on Next to continue.

• If you don't agree click on Cancel to stop the installation.
• Next you have to select the installation path. It is recommended to allow the default path and move on. However, if you're pretty sure of what you're doing and have a good reason for changing the default path, select a new installation path. Click on Next to continue. 

• At this point everything is setup and you're ready to install. Click on Next to start the installation.

• While the setup performs the installation the progress bar gives information of how far the installation has gone by and how much more is left.

 

• Once the installation is done the next window leads you to the readme file. Feel free to uncheck the "View Readme File" option. However, we encourage you to leave this checked and move on. Click on Finish.
• If you didn't uncheck the readme option you'll be led to a screen similar to the screen shot below. 

• Once you're done reading, click on OK to exit that window.
